This Week, Undefeated's Nike Dunk Low And Air Force 1 ”5 On It” Drop
UNDEFEATED and Nike have a long history of working together, which is the foundation for their most recent partnership. The familiar partners are reverting to previously released colorways with the "Dunk vs. AF-1" series, infusing fresh life into them by transferring the schemes to other models.
The "Ballistic" Dunk, which debuted last week, was the first of the new pack to arrive in the guise of an Air Force 1. The colorway is reminiscent of a friends and family Dunk High released in 2003 to commemorate the launch of UNDEFEATED's second location.
The "On Your Feet Kid" Dunk Low, which was released with the "Ballistic," is inspired by the "Inside Out" Air Force 1 from 2006, especially the "Canteen" colorway, which was one of two incarnations from the collaboration.
The pack's third Dunk Low has arrived, with a sleek black suede upper, purple rubber outsoles, and a luxe-looking fake fur Swoosh. This third Dunk hasn't been given a firm release date yet, but it's anticipated to come in the next weeks. You can get a better look at the sneaker by scrolling down.
The Air Force 1 Low "Ballistic" is dressed in UNDEFEATED's signature olive and black color scheme, with olive-colored ballistic nylon and suede used throughout. The Swoosh insignia, five strike logos, lining, laces, and outsole, the latter of which is broken up by an off-white midsole, all add black highlights to the base.
The “On Your Feet Kid” Dunk Low is inspired by the 2006 Air Force 1 "Inside Out" collab, especially the "Canteen" hue, which was one of two versions. The shoe's smooth and textured brown foundation is contrasted with a bright yellow Swoosh on the side. The iconic five strike emblem of UNDEFEATED is placed to the heel, immediately below the corresponding Nike insignia. A white midsole contrasts with the darker coloring of the top and outsole below.
We've previously seen other colors from UNDEFEATED and Nike's "Dunk vs. AF-1" series, so these are just the first three. Expect to learn more about the remaining drops in the coming future, with the first batch expected to come on June 18.
