The Release Of The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low Has Been Postponed
Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low is without a doubt one of his most divisive collaborations to date. He's taken two of the AJ2's original colorways and turned them into low-tops, adding that distinctive Off-White spice that sets them apart from the rest. Both pairs were supposed to release this week, but they've been postponed - and here's everything you need to know!
The silhouette was created by the famous Bruce Kilgore in 1987 and was initially produced in Italy, giving in an extra premium finish. It was released in both "White" and "Black" palettes.
While we don't know if this version will be produced there, there's no doubt that both colorways have been designed to convey a feeling of luxury, with varied leather textures and brogue-style perforations for a stylish look.
The Nike Air midsole underfoot has been given a cracked surface for a retro look, which is the most fascinating aspect of this Air Jordan 2 collaboration. We're not sure whether we like this level of detail, but we'll have to see these in person before making any decisions. The lateral side has MJ's signature written over it, while the medial wall has the OW x Nike technical verbiage that we all know and love, completing the look.
The Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 2 Low will be available on November 12th at select stores, packaged in a limited edition box.
