The RAL7000STUDIO x Adidas ZX Mutant Was Designed For The End Of The Apocalypse
You may or may not have noticed the RAL7000STUDIO x adidas ZX Mutant while scrolling through Instagram. This super chunky clog, a collaboration between the Three Stripes and the creative group, is based on the ZX 2K Boost and inspired by the ZX 710 from 1987.
The Mutant ZX has a one-piece design that looks very similar to the Yeezy Foam Runner but with a heavier form factor, as well as an inside neoprene sock lining for a comfortable fit. The material used to create the top is XL Extralight, which is created from leftovers and scraps, reducing material waste throughout the manufacturing process.
Jerry Lorenzo's Fear Of God California Slip-On, which is still available in limited quantities, is made of the same material. The apocalyptic design is completed with minimal adidas branding laser-etched into the sole of the shoe and on the ribbon tongue tag, completing the apocalyptic look that is sure to turn attention.
If you're a fan of the RAL7000STUDIO x adidas ZX Mutant, this is a limited-edition project that won't be released to the public, but never say never, right? Only forty pairs were produced, and they were handed to the brand's friends and relatives. However, we're crossing our fingers that these get a broader release.
