The adidas NMD Has Never Looked Better Than It Does Now

Since the City Sock from 2017, the iconic NMD is going to undergo its greatest makeover. The Three Stripes' renowned Nomad sneaker, which has been around for over six years, was the topic of considerable anticipation when it originally released in 2015. When the first pair was released, sneakerheads were willing to spend up to £1000 for it. While the model's popularity has waned over the years, the adidas NMD S1 "White" appears to be on its way back with the official announcement.

The "White," one of the most bizarre adidas shoes in recent memory, was originally teased in June when Pharrell Williams posted a photo of himself wearing a pair.

A reinforced collar gives stability and structure to the sneaker, similar to what you'd see on the Yeezy 450, with a sock-like Primeknit material that's flexible for a comfortable fit.

The in-built lacing mechanism is reminiscent of the original NMD R1, and the monofilament mesh sides are similar to the Yeezy Boost 350 V2.

Of course, no discussion of this fresh new model would be complete without noting the extra hefty Boost midsole. The highlight has to be the series of Trefoil emblems that make up the rubber outsole below, which has integrated EVA plugs and a ton of technical jargon for a deconstructed look. While this may appear to be a fresh design, it is based on the Marathon trainer, which was first released in the 1980s.

The adidas Originals NMD S1 "Cloud White" has yet to be given an official release date, although it is expected to drop before the end of the year.
