New Balance’s XC-72 Sneaker Get Its “Storm Blue” Makeover
New Balance has released the latest edition of their XC-72 shoe, which has a multi-color debut, gray variants, and a highly sought-after collaboration with Casablanca.
This shape, which serves as a successor to previous models, combines design elements from the XC15, 375, and 620 to create a retro-futuristic shoe inspired by 1970s concept vehicles.
This release has a premium suede and mesh upper in “Storm Blue,” “Sea Salt,” and yellow colorways inspired by marine colours. A split back design divides the heel from its rubberized embellishments and heel clip, while a half gum – half black outsole with a yellow streak running from the toe box through the middle of the shoe complements the colorful tongue. The design is completed with the brand's distinctive "N" emblem in white, which rises from the light blue mesh lateral panels.
From September 18, the newest New Balance XC-72 blue/yellow will be available in the Middle East. The brand enlists Emirati-based DJ Bliss, one of the Middle East's pioneers of nightlife, for the release.
