Bloody Murder Screams From Vans' Horror Collection

The new Vans footwear line takes Cardi B's famous statement, "These are bloody shoes," to new heights.

With a collection of gruesome shoes and clothing, the sneaker giant will pay homage to all of your favorite horror flicks, like The Shining, It, and A Nightmare on Elm Street, next month.

Vans released a short clip last week that teased a variety of scary designs. In order to build excitement for the release, the skate shoe retailer recently uploaded a series of close-up images, asking consumers to identify all of the movie allusions included in the collection.

A Sk8-Hi with yellow images from the original poster for The Shining is available for Stanley Kubrick enthusiasts. The scary twins from the flick star in a pair of slip-ons.

In an homage to It, the Authentic is strewn with red balloons, which are Pennywise's go-to party treat.

Freddy Krueger's striped sweater serves as the foundation for yet another Sk8-Hi, with blood splatters adorning the top and midsole.

Finally, a splattered rendition of Jason Voorhees' mask appears on a Friday the 13th Slip-On.

There's also plenty of clothing to go with the shoes, like sweatshirts, tees, and hats.

This isn't the first time horror has been used as a fashion inspiration. Wacko Maria released a collection of shirts, outerwear, and even dishes depicting Anthony Hopkins as cannibalistic serial murderer Hannibal only last week.

Undercover presented a collection inspired by Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria remake for Fall/Winter 2019. A pair of models recalling Kubrick's frightening twins concluded the brand's Spring/Summer 2018 show only a few years ago.

Not to mention Supreme's Hellraiser collaboration, which has a variety of Pinhead-printed items.

Vans hasn't revealed a release date for their horror collection, but it'll most likely arrive around Halloween.
