We're Feeling Nostalgic About The Air Jordan 4 "Where The Wild Things Are"

The Air Jordan 4 "Where The Wild Things Are" is one of those iconic shapes that can take inspiration from virtually anyplace. Many of us read or perhaps seen the film versions of Maurice Sendak's 1963 picture book as youngsters, so this colorway brings back fond memories.

The Air Jordan 4 includes premium smooth leather on the sidewalls and toebox, as well as a furry fabric on the ankle, sockliner, and tongue, all of which are inspired by the creatures in the novel. The lacing system is made up of vivid hues of blue, green, pink, and red, with earthy brown accents throughout for a burst of contrast.

The WTWTA-inspired pair is finished off with a clean white Nike Air midsole that's as comfy as it gets, and it's lined with a generous amount of gum rubber.

The Where The Wild Things Are x Nike Air Jordan 4 GS, which was initially rumored in April, will only be available in children's sizes, but keep an eye on The Sole Supplier in case they decide to release adult sizes! Let us know what you think of this limited-edition release, and while you're here, check out the Air Jordan 4 "Shimmer" in person!
