The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Shattered Backboard" Is In Its Best Look
Michael Jordan's "Shattered Backboard" moniker has to be one of his most well-known releases. When Michael Jordan was training for his second season in the NBA in 1985, he dunked so hard at the net that it completely broke the backboard. While the colorway had already been seen on several Air Jordan 1 Highs, we now have the best look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Shattered Backboard" yet!
This Air Jordan 1 Low includes an extra quality leather construction that pays reference to the "Reverse Shattered Backboard" makeup from 2016. Orange "Starfish" panels wrap around the heel, lacing system, and toebox on top of a crisp white base for that iconic colorblocked style we all know and love.
The laces, which bring everything together, are complimented by a stealthy black Nike Swoosh that runs over the lateral and medial side walls. Finally, the signature winged basketball pattern is skillfully sewn around the back to complete the classic look.
Now for the big reveal: the release date. The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Starfish" is expected to release on August 28th, according to our sources, and will be available in full family sizes.
