Nike Cosmic Unity

Materials: 

The upper of the Cosmic Unity seamlessly connects a knitted section up front with a textile/foam mix in the back in a pleasant 1:1 ratio.

The distinct character of Flyknit, where the primary structure is formed of minuscule threads while being covered up by enormous cables, which can't be called strings given how massive they are, that act as a supporting overlay. As a result, the front end has a high level of comfort because this form of Flyknit does not require any plastic covering. At the same time, those hefty ropes that seem like a lot of mums gathered in one location keep you from shattering your ankles on powerful maneuvers.

Cushion: 

Imagine having the Zoom Air Strobel from the KD 12 crammed within what made the original Kyrie line so famous and distinct — a buttery smooth midsole. You don't have to imagine it; the Cosmic Unit has made it all a reality, plus a little more. In this case, extra really implies less.

Nike has reduced the foam layer to a bare minimum in order to produce a low-profile ride with limitless mobility, while that absolutely amazing Zoom Air Strobel does all the heavy work by delivering some pretty good bounce and impact protection that our big guys will love.

Traction: 

It's old school. Classic. OG. You are free to call it whatever you choose. I'm referring about a unique herringbone traction pattern that deviates from the sci-fi concept yet provides great value in terms of performance. They weren't supposed to sit in a museum; they were supposed to murder it on the hardwood. That outsole does exactly what it says on the tin.

You may practically throw anything at them, and the effect will be the same - they will devour it all. Furthermore, the design is widely spaced out to minimize choking over dust or particles. Still, cleansing every now and again would be nice.

When it comes to outdoor hooping, the Cosmic Unity isn't your go-to option, but a visit here and there won't harm.

Fit: 

The excellent knit portion ensures a one-to-one fit right away. There is no need for a time-consuming break-in procedure. There will be no digging. There will be no cutting. Simply lace these up, making sure to use the top loop if you have heel slippage, and you're ready to dominate.

When it comes to size, they're slightly on the narrow side of things, but just just. That being said, unless you're a genuine wide footed, this shouldn't cause any fit issues for semi-wide footers. In such case, order a 1/2 size larger. Everyone else should be able to get away with sizing up.

Support: 

This is arguably the least interesting portion of the shoe, not because it's bad, but because the rest of it is so fantastic that being truly solid in this region just isn't enough. Nonetheless, support worked like a charm for me.

Without a question, the highly foamed heel part that resembles the back end of a rocket ship does an excellent job of locking your heel once you've found your optimal lace setup. 

All of it carries over into the midsection, where you'll find recycled foam on the wall, a big swoosh (also recycled), and a slew of chubby Flyknit cables. It ensured that my foot's amplitude of movement never contacted or reached the danger zone, when I was afraid of slipping off the footbed.
