Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Travis Scott"

 Materials:

Nike obviously wanted to give this collaboration shoe the "premium" treatment. The leather and suede are among the best we've seen on a Jordan 1. In addition to high-quality materials, details like the hidden stash pocket and subtle "Catcus Jack" branding set this shoe apart from other AJ1 releases.

Construction:

With so many nuanced details on this shoe, I was honestly expecting a lot of sub-par elements in terms of construction, but that was simply not the case on my pair. There were no obvious flaws, such as glue stains around the midsole, and the stitching was all clean.

Fit:

When it comes to sizing, most people can wear Jordan 1s true to size, but those who prefer a snug fit can go down half a size. I usually wear a 12 in Nike shoes, but I like to wear an 11.5 in Air Jordan 1s to avoid toe-box creasing.

Comfort:

Because this is a 1985 shoe, the comfort of this sneaker won't be anything to write home about. It's not the most comfortable shoe on the market, but it's also not the worst.

Overall, the cushioning and flexibility of these shoes are minimal, so I would not recommend wearing them while being active for an extended period of time.

On the plus side, if traction is important to you, these shoes have the best traction of any shoe, new or old.

Wearability:

This shoe is polarizing yet intriguing, with its over-sized reversed swoosh, multiple lace options, and brown-ish, earthy appearance. Step out in a pair of these and you will undoubtedly turn heads.

Putting together outfits with the shoe will be simple as well. A simple jean and solid t-shirt outfit works well, while the sneakers speak for themselves.
